Pull requests
Delete a pull request's branch
Delete a merged or closed pull request's branch: a branch of the repository, or of a fork you can push to.
/repos/{owner}/{name}/pulls/{number}/head-branchNeeds the Write role (push access to the fork, for a fork’s branch). Refused while the pull request is open, for the default branch, for a branch an open pull request still uses, and where rules protect it. head_branch_deleted is then true, and restore_pull_request_head_branch makes it again at its head. Publishes pull.head_branch_deleted. Returns the pull request.
An open pull request answers 409: close or merge it first. head_branch_deleted is then true; restore it at head_commit.
- Authentication: Required. Send an access token as
Authorization: Bearer. - MCP tool:
pull_requestwithactiondelete_branch, and the same inputs - Scope: An access token needs
